In North America, Outokumpu Stainless has three manufacturing units producing hot rolled plate, bar, and tubular products. Outokumpu Stainless' European-produced coil products are also marketed in the United States, Canada and Mexico through a US-based sales and distribution operation.
The focus in North America is to create value by generating targeted returns on investment made in local manufacturing and through the leverage of shared value with the European production systems, for example rolling European produced slab to plate, or European produced billets to bar.
North America covers sales in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Product lines
In North Amerrica, product line operations are located in New Castle, Indiana -- which produces hot rolled plate; Wildwood, Florida -- which produces pipe and tube; and Richburg, South Carolina, where bar products are produced.
